U-Kiss
started their first world tour a few days ago. They were going to do a concert
in New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Eli and Kevin are American. But AJ
is another member who can speak English. The three lovely men of U-Kiss I
assume will be the MCs of the shows and any interviews they do while here. I do
not have a favorite U-Kiss member but if I has to narrow it down it would be
between Hoon, Kiseop and Soohyun.
Their
first concert was yesterday January 9th. The weather in New York is
cold, not like the weather here in California. They might get a weather shock
going from New York to San Francisco. It might be a little chilly but it’s not
cold enough for heavy jackets. Mnet America’s YouTube channel has been posting
little clips of U-Kiss’ time spent in New York and I assume there will be some
clips from their time in California. As far as I know there are currently seven
different clips. Tomorrow, January 11th, U-Kiss will be doing their
second concert in their tour. Then their last concert will be on the 14th.
I will be there and I will take some pictures for any who is interested. I’m
glad that they are touring here in America but I’m sad to see them go.
There
are a lot of K-Pop fans here in America, but there are very few K-Pop groups
that tour here in America. 2AM, B.A.P, Infinite, Big Bang and SM Town are a few
of the groups that have toured here in America last year. But they perform only
have a few concerts while they are here. But I guess to make up for that we
also have KCON. I hope I’ll be able to go next year. I’ve heard of people who
are flying here to California just to see U-Kiss. The life if an international
fan can sometimes be hard. I guess we have to sacrifice a little more just to
see our favorite groups in concert. Maybe one day America will be more open to
K-Pop and more K-Pop groups will tour in America.
